Located in “The Yards”, Vanishing Point Records are an independent vinyl store that was opened by Corey Lavender in 2016. Selling mainly second hand (pre-loved) records of most, if not all, genres of music ranging from the 1950's to the present day, on both albums, singles, and some rare vinyl. They also do a small range of new releases which they are looking to expand very soon. In addition, they also sell some music related artwork and limited edition run t-shirts.

Corey is a true music aficionado and is always happy to talk about what he’s got in and help you discover those hidden gems. One of the things we love most about Vanishing Point is that Corey has helped us discover releases from yesteryear that haven't been pressed onto new vinyl and is always on hand to guide our choices with a real personal understanding of our tastes and interests.

We are so lucky here in Chesterfield to have some great independent record stores and we all agree that Vanishing Point is another great addition to the Chesterfield music scene. Vanishing Point is just the type of place we like to linger.

MAKE A MENTAL NOTE! Although Vanishing Point records is usually closed on Sundays, you will find Corey behind the counter when the Record Fair is in town.
