Odyssey Restaurant is a little chunk of Greece transported into the heart of Chesterfield, offering customers a journey of authentic flavours, sounds and the atmosphere of Greece.

Owned and run by a Greek family, Odyssey is based in the centre of Chesterfield, in a traditional English building and what used to be known as the old Queen’s Head. The owners have managed to bring the building back to life by marrying old English and Greek tradition, maintaining the beauty of the building, but also enhancing it with sites and the aroma of Greece.

When you enter Odyssey, it is like stepping through a teleportation portal and landing in Athens! From the beautifully crafted bouzouki hanging on the wall to the authentic tables, chairs and framed pictures of the culturally rich Mediterranean country, it is clear to see the restaurant isn't just somebody’s business, but their life and passion!

The restaurant has a warm, communal feel, full of positive energy. There is a menu full of exciting options from the expected traditional Greek classics to some options you might be experiencing for the first time.

So whether you fancy Dakos, Grilled Halloumi, Greek Fava, Sfakian Voskopita with Mizithra Cheese or the best Gyros you've ever tasted, a trip to Odyssey is well worth treating yourself to.
